The cover went down as one of the most scandalous moments in rock history and outshined the album itself. People across the world can identify the covers of albums like Abbey Road and Sgt. The front side depicted John and Yoko holding hands in the nude. The backside of the album also depicted John and Yoko naked, this time turning their heads to look at the viewer. The album, which featured John and Yoko nude on the front and back covers, has been jokingly referred to over the years as the "most talked about album to have never been played. The album was recorded in May , supposedly during John and Yoko's first night together, and features an assortment of oddly mixed random noise, screeching, backwards tape loops, and other "found sound.
